McKenna Seegmiller

McKenna Seegmiller has been performing with Spark of Creation Studio since the age of three. She has trained in musical theatre, hula, Tahitian, jazz, and tap. She has participated in SOC stage productions since the age of seven and has taken part in Spark of Creation Studio’s Musical Theater Competition Team competing at MTCA and the Junior Theater Festival, with her most recent performances in Moana JR (Moana) and a Legally Blonde JR medley (Elle), the latter of which she received a Freddie G “Outstanding Performance By An Individual” award at the 2023 Junior Theater Festival West. She has also performed with Te Pura O Te Rahura’a as an ‘Ori soloist and competition team dancer in Hura Tahiti, Merrie Monarch, multiple Tahiti Fetes, and a cultural exchange in Tahiti. Since 2018, McKenna has been in the classrooms, sharing her passion for performance with her students. She has garnered choreography experience with the studio’s mainstage musicals, summer camps, and in the classroom. Currently commuting from the University of Berkeley where she is an undergraduate student, McKenna hopes to not only share her deep love for the Arts with her students, but also to give them a space to grow as confident and creative individuals.
