Madison Schoening (she/her) is a Music Theater performer, educator, and production artist with a passion for helping young performers discover the joy and possibilities of their artistry. She began performing as a child through choir, plays, musicals, and talent shows before joining Spark of Creation Studio’s Musical Theatre Competition Team at 14. After graduating from Spark, she continued her training at Oklahoma City University, earning a Bachelor of Music in Music Theater. She also holds an Associate of Arts in Music from Skyline College.
While at Skyline College, Madison worked for nearly two years as an Assistant Technical Director, gaining hands-on experience in stage management, set design and construction, props, sound, lighting, microphones, and backstage operations. She also worked with Spark of Creation as a Music Director and Assistant Instructor, helping students develop their voices, performance skills, and confidence while preparing them for competition and production.
While singing is her first love, Madison has grown to find equal joy in teaching and in the creative process behind the stage. She loves creating supportive spaces where students can discover the possibilities of their voices and providing them with the tools and structure to grow as performers. She is equally passionate about creating the theater magic that allows students’ talent to shine.
Now returning to Spark for her third year of working with the studio, Madison is excited to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the Musical Theatre Competition Teams and Musical Theatre Productions, as well as a Production Assistant. She is grateful to continue contributing to the studio that played such an important role in her own journey as a performer and artist.
