Lea Hernandez has been dancing at SOC Studio since she was 4 years old. After starting her experience in the Hula/Tahitian department, she started to expand her journey into the Musical Theater, Jazz, Tap, Production, and Vocal departments. She has been dancing competitively for 6 years. Lea has participated in competitions such as the Junior Theater Festival, Tahiti Fete, and Nationals.
Last year, Lea was inducted into the inaugural class of the National Honors Society of Dance Arts (NHSDA) Junior Chapter at Spark of Creation Studio. The NHSDA had helped Lea become more involved in her dance community. She is very excited to become a Teaching Assistant in the Hula/Tahitian department. The studio is like Lea’s second home and she can’t wait to share her love of dance with the SOC community.
